Exclamation SoCal Guys ... Please Help

I called Ride Wright Wheels today to order 21" & 16" Fat Daddy 50 Spoke for my 2010 Heritage and the sales representative over there told me what width you'd like to go with on the front wheel? then I told her I want it to be 21X3.25 because the tire that I ordered before is Avon Venom MH90H21 and I don't want my tires to be stretched out. So she told me we don't make the 21" with 3.25 so either you go for:

-21X3.0 which is safer, higher tire profile with no stretching, with a better ride qulaity but then you'd get the Sportster tire look with the wide Heritage fender.

or

-21X3.5 and then my tire would be stretched out and would look better and wider. but then I'd have a very low profile on the tire and a little stiffer ride.

and as she told me the Avon Venom MH90H21 is the only tire available tire in the market with white wall.

the question is for which option should I go? 3.5 or 3.0 with the Avon Venom MH90H21?

please help ...

thanks in advance.

You should get a 21x3.5 with a db tire made to fit it.

I would stretch that tire to 3.5 , if anything get a 21x2.15

In your place I'd follow RRW's advise, they really know their business.

I'm running a 21x3.5 but a black wall metzeler 120/70/21

you can also try to get a Vee Rubber 120/70-21 WW so you can run a 21x3.5

Actually, that information is not correct. I have tested both of these setups. a 21x3.5 or 21x3 rim with a 120-21 tire is the safest. I personally have run all different sizes and tires on varying size rims and have found that the proper size tire for the proper rim is the best way to go. A 90/21 tire is made for a 21x2.15" wide rim. Not a 3" wide rim so the tire has to be stretched to fit on a 3" rim. And it is extremely unsafe from my own personal experience to run a 90/21 tire on a 3.5" rim. I had sever death wobble with that set up. I recommend some sort of 120/21 tire on a 3.5" rim for the most stable and comfortable ride. That is what I run on my 21x3.5 Ride Wright.

I ordered the wheels and tires from some one over CA and the deal was RWW 21X3.25 with MH90H21 and suppose to be the correct application so he sent me the tires 1st and then stopped responding to my emails and calls. so I can't return the tires and have to use them. and as far as I know there's no 120/70 with white wall.

Yes there are. Not very popular and not enough feedback on their performance to trust them with your life. If they are being imported some minimal tests have been performed in order to enter the country.

Always attend the manufacturer's advise, they are the ones obligated to run the tests since both wheels and tires are safety parts. They are the ones with legal responsibility. A reseller will tell you whatever you want to hear or their "experience", based (if lucky) on stats or on their mark-ups. They do not test the products, they use them, pretty different stuff.

Play it safe, many have gotten smaller rims because they don't trust the available white walled 120/70/21. Smart choice.

Best of luck.

Mimo.

just hanged up from RWW and they didn't recommend the VEE Rubber so I decided to go the black wall Avons 120/70-21 and 150/80-16. will skip on the white wall to get the widest look on the front tire and the safest ride as well. my new color kit is black is well.

so what do you think guys?

would it look good without the white tire wall?

I think it is gonna look sweet. White walls are nice, I had them myself, but they were not a must in my book, so now I'm happy I don't have to clean them anymore.
