Switching over to hydralic clutch but the lever dose not make on the switch in the switch housing, I think this switch is clutch switch any suggestion to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
I know when I got aftermarket levers the clutck one did not have the hump for the switch so I used some JB putty and made a hump to contact the switch but in your case I would contact them and see if they make a late model lever that will contact the switch.

The levers (the thumbs activating the clutch switch) are different for hydraulic clutch. In one case the switch is out when the lever is pulled in, in the other case the switch is depressed when the lever is in.
So, hydraulic lever needs exactly the oposite switch.
I don't remember which one was normally open and which one was normally closed, but ask the dealer for a clutch switch for hydraulic clutch, they know what switch that is. It should be no more than 10 bucks. Then you'll have half an hour of work to replace it, may be less.

This sounds like the clutch interlock switch. It allows you to start the bike in-gear, as long as the clutch lever is pulled in far enough to depress the switch. I'm not familiar with the hydraulic clutch configuration you've described but either way, either a normally closed or open switch, the lever has to depress the switch and that sounds like the problem. The lever doesn't depress the button. By the way, the switch at H-D St. Charles, MO is $61.00 including tax. I had to replace mine. I broke it when changing grips.
