Don't care one way or the other about spokes,or black VS chrome. But in my opinion, I don't like anything but a 16" on an FL style bike. Just doesn't look right to me & too trendy. Everybody's doing it.
I like the fat 50's although per se they are not "Old school" as these kind of radial laced rims did not exist 50 years ago. 18"'s would look nice. Email or PM em for discounted pricing if you have not already. info@drvtwin.com

Ha! I some how feel everyone know's they weren't around! I'm referring to wheel size for old skool! The spokes just add a bit of flash!
Every day I stare at these two pictures, but I can't make up my mind. I want to stay relatively old skool, but I really like RW smoothies with those beefy spokes.
What do you's think...powdercoat the factory rims and stay 16" or go with 18" RW's similar to likestoride's bike below, but with black rims and polished spokes. I don't want to go with 16" RW's because it's a bit too clustered and I know I'll have to get custom tires if I go 18".
I like the 18" fat spokes, I'm lookin to put a pair on myself.
But I'm likein the combo in the top pic realy go's with the look of yer bike.
Just sayin.
