Chrome fork wind deflectors 2010 Deluxe
Anyone out there have the front fork chrome wind deflectors on their softails? We've got 2010 Softail Deluxes and even though JP Cycles offers one, they won't clear the bullet style turn signals under the passing lamps on the 2010's. Been beating my brains out trying to find them. I saw a pic on the forum from TAZMAN 527 but can't get a response. I don't want to change the t/s out for the old style flat ones so anything short of cutting out a hole in the deflectors would be appreciated.

i read on this forum somewhere that they will work on the deluxe, you just gotta install them on the opposite side of the forks so they will be backwards. meaning right one on the left side and left on the right. do a search, ive read it more than once.

I tried the dealership long ago and they just say there are none to be had for the Deluxe's 2008 and on because of the style of the bullet turn signals. That's crap 'cause I've seen them on other 08's and 09's.

Thanks MKE...I'll give it a shot with the reverse mounting. JP Cycles here in Daytona is pretty good about letting you take the product out to your bike to see if it fits. Even if you take it out of the shrink wrap, they just re-wrap it right at the store if you don't want it.

Thanks Wildrooster. I believe they work on your '07 because you have the older style flat turn signals. From '08 and up they went to the bullet style turn signals and the lower mounting hole on the deflector won't quite make it to the hole in the fork as the turn signal hits it. It's only about a quarter inch off but enough to restrict mounting.
