Think I have to agree with you, the paint does not do it for me, and I do not think I would put Apehangers on either. I am starting to like the look of the springer though.

there are a bunch of aftermarket springer makers, and the better ones are really nice looking pieces that work really well.
But beware, the really good ones, including Harley's, cost a lot more than you may be willing to spend.
