I just got delivery of Rush slipons with 1.75" baffles today! (for my new 2012 Heritage). I am excited, as I have had them before on other bikes and LOVE the sound and get a lot of compliments. Hubby too. I have had them on other bikes and only once had a problem - 2.25" baffles on a Nightster. TOO loud, and did not run well since I did nothing else to the bike. Went down to 1.75" and loved the sound better and bike ran much better. Had the 1.75" baffle on my Street Bob and again, loved the sound, and bike ran fine with no other work done on it. Hubby has 2" baffles on his new Fat Boy Lo, but it was a dealer customized bike and they had already put the Stage 2, Screaming Eagle in and they are, of course, recommending he come back and get it Dyno tuned in the spring. But Rush had told us baffles 2.0" and under don't HAVE to have anything done. Not to say it doesn't help in some aspects of performance if that's what you are looking for, but it won't hurt if you don't.

Thanks - I figured that was it, but I wasn't positive.

UPDATE: Based on the feed-back I received, I ordered 1.75" baffels. I got them today. The sound is awsome! Much better than the 2.25". Bike runs great and to me seems to have more power. Many thanks for your responses. I'm a happy camper!

Can anyone tell me why I'm having so much trouble finding Rush slip-ons with the 2 inch baffles for my 2012 Fat Boy Lo?
After lots of research I've decided that this is the route I want to go. But everywhere I look I can never find a set that says it will fit the 2012. What gives?
(thanks in advance for any help)

Just call Rush Tech support. Did when trying to decide on my baffle size. They should be able to give you the definitive answer.
