Dropped off my baby tonight for a dyno tuning and some nice new chrome forks and cowbells...Can't wait to see how she comes out. Also dropping in a set of Ricor's while the front end is apart.
Hope they do a good job. I like doing my mods myself, but the forks looked a little out of my league. Plus looks like you may need more than one set of hands to do the job. I have a whole bunch of new chrome goodies/accessories to add to her once she gets home and that will be the end of my winter mods. I think.
Yeah, chrome front end makes such a big difference, gonna look mint & you'll love it! No sleeping with her when she comes back though!
Oh & yes as Kozy said, keep them reflectors off!
Nice! I have all the chrome front end pieces ready to go and ordered a set of Ricors over the weekend. Are you doing it with the stock front springs? I figured I'd try it with them first and see how it works out.

No reflectors, check! check! and double check!!!!
Going with the stock front springs. Im kind of digging the tail dragger look. Im hoping to get a 21 up front or maybe an 18 wide one day which should really bring the nose up. that along with the shotgun shocks slammed, she should look bad@ss!!!!
It's not bad to tear down and take the forks to have the shop do the internals and put them back on yourself, saves a lot of labor cost. The indy charged me an hour plus seals and oil etc. (ssshhhuuu it's still a secret I just put my back together tonight. lol)
