Haven't posted much in a while. The old bike doesn't look much like a Deluxe any more these days. Figured I'd come on here and show off my odd ball. The paint on the tank is bare steel for the scallops and gloss black krylon that I wet sanded and polished for untold hours. Took her to the drags Friday night and turned a 13.07 @ 100.88mph. I'll add some photos to this as I finish uploading and cropping them. Hope you guys like!

There. Uploaded more photos. Just sanded off the black paint I had on the exhaust. Now considering painting the wrapped portion black and leaving the rest in the raw looking finish. Gonna try to play with it on photoshop to see how it looks.
I love it. The minimalist look is great. What seat is that?
I think it was a Lapera at one point in time. Now just using the seat pan and redid everything else.
Thanks so much for all the compliments guys! I've done almost all of the work myself other than the engine work and 6 speed install. Did the paint about four or five months ago. Took some cajones to finally sand off the factory paint job after debating how I would paint it for the last seven years. This is my daily driver, and I love it! Had to get some photos while I actually had it clean. Doesn't stay that way for too long without a front fender and riding almost every day.
