Where did you get the $450 price (without all the goodies)?
Their web site hits you right up front w/ a $750 bill...................
D
Its $350 for an unpainted fairing with no radio. I've also read other complaints saying that if you order it that way you won't get the mounting brackets and he then hits you up for another $30 + shipping. It will bolt on using the windshield bolts.
The fairings are nice, ESP. For the price but Alex is an a-hole. Once he gets his money you better hope you get what you wanted. That's not just from me.
No radio and no speakers. Wanted the outter/inner fairing just for the wind protection. The optional wind wing deflectors completed the package and are absolutely wonderful. The whole fairing really blocks the wind with no buffeting whatsoever.
Here's the inside of mine. Dont mind the bags Im in the middle of of modding them to fit how I will like them to sit.
Oh yeah and it was supposed to be color matched, but the guys at Reckless cut corners to save $$$
Dude this look great..........I noticed that you have your radio in a (weatherproof?) housing. Do you need to do that or did you not use a marine quality radio. I'm on the fence about it. You don't see those used on Harley OEM fairings but I see them on alot of aftermarket fairings. They are less than $30 so I'm thinking it's cheap insurance? I'm looking at a Sony Marine quality radio so I'm not sure I need one........any advice?
My fairing s/b in this week so I will be starting a thread on the install from start to finish......looking forward to it.
