Just installed these new Reckless Cycles fairings on our Deluxes. The protection with the addition of the wind wing deflectors is very satisfactory. These fairings are worlds better than the OEM crap that Harley has on their baggers. I didn't even paint these. The Gel coat when waxed is almost like gloss black and is very acceptable. These aren't show room fairings...they are extremely functional and for $450 out the door(that includes shipping) you just can't find a better deal.

Did you mount any speaker/marine radios or are you just interested in the wind deflection. I'm going to put a fairing on my Fatboy this winter and I'd like to know how thing turned out? I was curious if you put the radio (if you mounted one) into one of those water tight enclosures you mount in the dash.
The fairings look great and they are really growing on me. I may have to invest in one for next winter's mods. I really want something with a radio tho. I am interested to see the pics of the inside of your fairings as well.

Here's the inside of mine. Dont mind the bags Im in the middle of of modding them to fit how I will like them to sit.
Oh yeah and it was supposed to be color matched, but the guys at Reckless cut corners to save $$$
I really like that look. Ben thinking about doing the same thing but was "put off" by the cost of fairings. I'm about to go to the Reckless Web site (assuming I can find it) and check it out.
Will use this to replace the Windshield (that i spent way too much money on) since I'm turning the Deluxe into a "bagger" slowly but steadily.
