Widow maker shifter
As I said prior, I'm goin back to open coal Fires me? Oh & that washing machine can go, I'll beat my clothes on a rock down by the stream & I'll get loads of attention!!!
Converted a 1972 XLCH to right side jockey/hand shift, left side suicide clutch, left hand throttle.
Rode a '78 FLH 3 speed w/reverse tranny (rocker clutch and frame-mounted "Police" hand shifter - stock from the factory) for over 220,000 miles.
Converted my 1987 FLST to rocker clutch and hand shift, then suicide clutch and jockey shift, and have about 150,000 miles on it.
Stuck a suicide clutch and hand shift on THE MAMA's 2007 XLN.
Heat with a wood-burning stove, too. Cut a lot of the wood right here on the home place.
Also sorta fond of single-shot rifles and six-guns.
Like my steak done "blue".
Still use a fancy washing machine, but hang clothes out whenever we can.
Don't really care how you or anybody else likes to do things, or what you think makes someone an idiot.
I reckon I'll just keep on doing what makes me happy, and listen to that "different drummer" instead of being a friggin' sheeple.
Maybe Nicky Hayden will be sporting one in this years MotoGP?

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Oooooo. I'm soo worried what other people think. Hahahaha!!
Keep doin the damn thing, boyz!! Y'all know who I'm talkin about.
I'm capable of manufacturing my own products for my bikes and I'm just trying to have some fun. The fact that I was able to turn one of my products into a business and have a lot of very satisfied customers validates that there is a market for jockey shifts, whether you use a hand clutch or a foot clutch. If you don't believe how satisfied my customers are, visit my testimonials page on www.handshifter.com.
Obviously you will never put a jockey shift on your bike because you think it's idiotic or it scares you or whatever. Just don't be judgmental towards those of us that have the riding skills to operate one and actually put a lot of miles on our bikes and have fun doing it.
