Default Fork width, Hub width, Rocker to Night train

So I got a used Rocker front wheel from another member and I want to put it on my NT. It appears that the rocker wheel flange to flange is about 4.5" vs the factory spoke NT wheel at roughly 6.5". Does anyone know exact specs on this? I want to go to HD tomorrow and get the correct wheel install kit. I dont want to depend on the dealer being able to figure it out. Hoping someone here could help. Thanks

What i would do is put the rocker wheel on your nt center it up in the forks then measure how far u need to space the rotor to meet up in the caliper. I have a 7/8 rotor spacer with hardware that came with my hhi wide glide trees that i never used due to putting custom wheels on my rocker. Let me lnow if u could use it. Its chrome and so is the hardware

When " centering" the front wheel, make sure you use the fender, or the fender mounting points, to measure from. Not sure bout the 06's, but on my 05 the front wheel is offset to the throttle side. Not much (.25" I think), but if you look closely at the fender mounting points the one on the clutch side sticks further off the tree. I put a stock train rear wheel on my front, so with some work anything can be done. Lots of measurements, and 3/4 PVC pipe works great as mock up spacers if you need to figure up new ones.

good post Jr. I wouldn't use the dealer for any thing but that's just me. Overpriced and under knowledged .Napa has or can get any bearing out there.Just a matter of measure and remeasure.

Hey Dave,
Glad I saw your post. I just bought front rim & rotor off '08 Rocker to put on my '08 Night Train. How did that work for you?
