custom, based on 98 softail. clutch kit question
I am replacing the 5 speed transmission on my 98 softail based custom bike. It currently has a transmission with a case number of tr 601991. I believe it is a 1991 dyna transmission, is there a way to identify what clutch kit to buy without tear down? I don't want to tear into it without having parts in hand to put it back together. I am replacing the tranny with a 6 speed unit and figure while I am in there I should replace the clutch also. I have other questions but the clutch basket is the part I am having a hard time with, without tearing it apart.
