Default softail tanks contour??
i have a 97 heritage softail and i wanna do somthing different with the dash
what im wondering is the contour of softail tanks the same as new tanks?
like new heritage tanks the same contour of the old?

I put a blackline dash on my '02 Fatboy and it fit real well, if not perfect. Don't know about older than '02 though. Good luck.

I believe the contour of the Evo may be a little different than the newer Softails (2000-up). Keep in mind that the Evo models have split (2) gas tanks, so mounting a new dash from a newer bike to an older tank may need some modification or may not work at all.

What are you trying to do with the console? Washington Choppers makes a nice panel that replaces the dash on the older split tanks if that's the route you're looking to go.

i'll check out washington cycles im looking for a full dash i will most likely powder coat black with some ol skewl pin stripping these are the ones i saw soo far

Can't see you pix for some reason but am interested in replacing what's on my '99 softail custom and can't find anything.
