Yes it is and my understanding is that the only the dealer can switch it off. Not like the baggers where the owner can. Here in 'Vegas it gets pretty hot and mine activates frequently when stopped in traffic.
What about the 2009 FatBoy? I could swear that I've asked my dealer this question before about having the EITMS on mine turned on, only to find that the 2009 doesn't have it.
Anyone know when they started putting them on the FatBoy?
I was told my 2011 Blackline has the option but can only be activated by HD. However I was going to go in and get it activated but was advised by a couple of friends not to activate it.
Any feedback on negatives on this? As no-one seems to be able to advise me as to why I should not activate it and only just suggest not too.
Summer over here can reach 58 degrees! and summer has already started and the temp is reaching 33 so come June - August you can imagine the heat and the affects it has on the brain too The night times are ok not as bad just humid.

Engine oil cooler is being installed next month
On my 08 Rocker, I thought they told me it had it and it was turned on automatically?? It get's warm here in summer, but I suspect, not like you...LOL. I usually don't sit in traffic though...if I hit some, I go another way.
Ps Seems like it would be nice riding out through the desert on a star filled warm night??
