I would buy the shields but for the price I expected them to fit better than they did. the chrome finish on them was better than the finish on the pipes.
How far down the pipe do they come do they cover all the was to the second step up where the muffler meets the head pipe?

They go to where the muffler meets the headpipe. On mine the heat shield for the front pipe fits ok it goes just in front of the muffler. On the rear pipe it is too long and overlaped the muffler. Its hard to tell in the pic but the shield overlaps the muffler about 3/8 of an inch.
