Default Softail Fender Bib Question....

So, I put a HD Brawler solo seat on my 2012 Fat Boy Lo (with a single rear screw mount), make my way to my local HD dealer to get a Fender Bib that works with a single screw mount (like the Dyna's), and lo and behold, it seems HD only makes a Fender Bib for Fat Boy models with the double screw's (rear of the seat) that does not fit with the Brawler - WTF?

Ok, so am I mentally challenged and just unaware how this Fender Bib is supposed to work, or does HD really only make Fat Boy Fender Bibs for 2 screw seats?

Anyone know where I can get a Fender Bib that works with the Brawler seat?

As always, thanks for the advice!

Mustang has 1 plain and 1 studded, but they say fits only with a mustang solo. Don't know why though.

I got a mustang solo, and don't see much diff with the HD Brawler.

Talking fender bib

Hi, Call mustang yourself they are very nice to deal with and ask them for the longest single hole bib they have, I think its about 16'', I used one and had to punch a hole for the single screw seat but it worked and looked good. Don't remember the number off hand. Hope that helped. Ride safe.

Any good leather shop should be able to make you one if mustang doesn't have the fit. At least then you can have a "one-of".

Default Mustang Fender Bib

Thanks for all the advice. I went ahead and ordered one from Mustang - they say it fits with their solo seats, and I see one on their website that has a single screw mounting bracket similar to my solo seat. My only concern is my Brawler attaches using a single screw at the back of the seat, and the stock saddle uses the two screws on the back of the seat. So, I need a Fender Bib that will attach at the single screw area of the Brawler seat, then flow backwards across the Fender (like on a Dyna). If the Bib uses the 2 screw mounts, then it will lay on top of the Brawler single seat screw, which sits back from the 2 screws, which I am sure won't work. We'll see. So, I'm thinking I'll just run the stock solo seat with the 2 screws and the Fender Bib, and when I use the Bralwer, I'll just have to have an exposed Fender - sucks when I use the Passenger Pillion with the Brawler, as now I have to use an easily romovable protective tape, which was the point for the Fender Bib in the first place, to cover up the tape underneath the Brawler Passenger Pillion when not in use with the solo seat. Ughhhhhhhh! Nothing is easy!
