Also, check out this post. The pictures should help you out. Basically it'll show you how there are "locks" on the wires. It's not the same connector but it works the same. You gotta get under that little tab to unlock it

they are a PITA for sure.. i went one step further and pushed the inner white (mine was white- 07) portion of the connector out of the body of the connector.. from the wire side push the clear/white portion all the way up and pull the inner section out. once out you'll be able to see all the individual tangs holding the terminals in place. to reassemble you'll need to put the white piece back in about 1/2 down the cavity.. try one wire and see if it locks in, if it doesn't go in, pull the inner section out a bit, the section is holding the locking tangs from moving up and allowing the terminal to snap in.. if it doesn't lock in push it in a bit, the section needs to be in the correct position to form the terminal cavity and the tang to lock in place. .. theres a fine line there in getting the inner section in the correct position..
the smaller AMP style connectors are a breeze, its the weatherpack delphi connectors that sucked *** for me.. and i'm a mech.. some things can be frustrating as hell.. usually its the simpler things..

Make sure the center piece hasn't slid back in some. Are they coming free but not all the way out? If they are, you might wanna try my method. Grab it with some needle nose and pull. I had a couple that got hung up and and to give em a yank.
Thanks for all of your help. im on my fifth beer. its so frustrating. i have changed everything omit this bike including lower legs. this wire thing sucks. thanks for all the great replies. I'll keep you posted. Mike
