I'm able to flat foot the bike...per the HD website, the Heritage has a 25.5" seat height with the stock OEM seat. Maybe the older Heritage had a taller seat height? I dunno...

I wear Icon Super Duty 2 MC boots that have a little less than a 1" thick sole and have no problems at all.

The Heritage is the tallest of the Softails. It is so because it is the only one that they really designed to carry a passenger and some weight in the bags. If you go solo mostly, no issue with dropping the rear a bit.

Better stay off the touring bikes.. think there all 1'' to almost 1 1/2 taller than a Heritage...

Lots of Heritage's around here and really don't remember anyone or seeing anyone who can't flatfoot one.
Like someone said, maybe somebody put a seat on that raised the ride height.

Fifty plus, hard to keep track these days, got this '96 nostalgia about a year ago. Only real mod so far is a double layer of cardboard under the midsection while sleeping. Gonna' have HD take a look this winter. I like this bike more every day, and I'm glad to hear someone compare it better than the RK. If I never own another bike, I'll die happy. I like the look, the sound, the whole shebang. However, I suck at taking and inserting pictures.

Calling All Heritage owners....-unnamed-1-.jpgI bought my 2000 FLSTC last July(2012) with 11,000 miles on it for a great price. I love the thing. I'm just getting back on a bike after a long hiatus(20 or so years, I had a 1977 Super Glide) I'll always have this bike. I put around 13,000 miles on it since July 2012 and that was with no long trips.......... oh yeah......... I'll be 47 on Saturday, am retired from NYC and am enjoying life watching my son become a Man.....

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I am stoked for this upcoming riding season and partly because it been so insanely cold this winter. Last season was my first season on heritage and it was more amazing than I imagined. I know it is too early to be talking first ride of the season but it helps when you look at the temp and it is 15 degrees outside.

I bought my 07 early last year with about 6k on her and now have about 12k. Wife and I ride together mostly, I rarely ride alone much. I just love the way it seems to hug you, fits like a glove. Do not have a decent garage to get out and mess with her much but planning on building one this spring so next winter I will be able to just piddle.

Like Tail said, tired of this dam cold weather, only 44 but the older I get the more I hate the snow. I definately will retire somewhere warmer may even try to transfer once youngest is out of school so have at least 6 more years I have to live here.

Not sure if I ever contributed to this thread, I have 2 Heritages, a 12 FLSTC and I just bought a 02 Heritage Springer FLSTSi last weekend. They are both beautiful bikes.
