Active Exhaust Module
What is the function of this module and will it keep me from replacing my exhaust system on a 2010 FLSTC?

that is for emissions crap.. it blocks off the exhaust, supposedly it heats up the engine faster.. i thought that is only used on European models and Japanese bikes. just take it off. good excuse to get a new exhaust
