Inverted Clutch
Has anyone used the inverted Clutch lever from Cook Customs!
I've been researching info for my bar set up that I want to go with. Completely clean bars except the clutch lever...
It's gonna cost me bout 2 bills to do what I want to do but I'm hoping to find some reviews on the clutch lever first since it will be kinda pricy and want to do it right the first time..
This will be my break down of parts
Carlini Gangster/Flying apes 1.50" and modified (remove the taper at drop to 1" point)
Piston risers
Exile internal throttle
Exile grips 1.50" w/grip ace control pad
Jay brake MC (integerating both brakes to foot control)
Cook custom inverted clutch lever
The plan is to have the bars and grips appear to be one flowing piece.
I will be fitting and modifing everything before I PC it all black to match the Denim Lo....

Just did essentially the same thing to my train, but went with a foot clutch jockey setup to get it off my bars. Can't help with the inverted clutch, but you're gonna love all the other things. Really cleans up the front end!
Use the Russell pro system II brake line and run it internal. It was a bit of a PITA, but well worth the trouble!

I might check into the brake lines but I got ABS and am going to have both run off the foot control, so I have to get a larger MC, longer banjo bolt w/brake switch in it, and lines for ABS....
was looking at goodridge, from what Russel at Exile was saying they use.

Will you need the brake switch? If both brakes are off same mc, then wouldn't the stock pressure switch for the rear brake be enough? As soon as the brakes are applied, light goes on. Unless the newer bikes no longer have the rear pressure switch.....
I was going to go with both on the foot, but with the foot clutch it would get a bit hairy when I had to stop! Too bad the twist clutch won't work with the grip ace.....unless maybe you have the bars milled for the grip ace, then you could run the internal clutch....hmmm......
And just a heads up, the internal throttle directions tell you to cut 4.5" off the end of the bars. Don't. It's actually 4", and a Plumbers pipe cutter works great to get a nice square end.
Good to know about the length, that would suck trying to fix that...
Exile does have some bars where he milled out the bars just behind the grip and inserted the grip ace pad. (will post pic soon as I get it loaded) It's pretty sweet and you could use the twist clutch, which was what I was gonna do till it continued my research and found out to do it the right way and be effective and practical. You would need the twist clutch set up, a new stronger tranny cover, and a auto clutch packand maybe a few other small bits and pieces. and I'm still not even sure if you would have to switch to an open primary for the auto clutch set up. So all that puts up well past $2 bills just for the clutch set up alone. then you still needs your bars and such...
Hell not to that right now. maybe little by little down the road.
I'm not 100% sure about the brake lite switch yet since I still have yet to see my bike. I get back in about a month to get it and can figure out those little details, Russel said I would need that, he may just have been talking about a longer bolt to hole two fittings that still had the switch in it...
