Power Commander III...Yes or No?
I bought the PCIII used. It didn't come with the two replacement O2 sensors that comes with it new. I'm not even sure I need them cuz I'm not certain my bike has O2 sensors. I'll call Harley and find out.
So once I put the Stage 1 on, then I just install the PWIII and download the new app for slip-ons and a stage 1?
My 06' Train was bought with a PCIII USB installed. It had rush slip on mufflers and a K&N high Flo Filter. The Generic map that the PC had was for a HD heavy breather and screaming eagle slip ons. The bike ran AWESOME....So I think if you get a map close to what you got you should be OK..that being said, the train is now in the shop getting head work, a bigbore kit and cams with a Dyno tune. If I can have 100+HP and 100+TQ I want it.
Just my 2 pennies worth

I tried to install the PC-V on my 2008 FLSTF but decided to abandon ship and went with a SERT instead. Here are my thoughts. The PC-III (V) need to be placed between the ECM and the wire harness. The problem is there is not enough room under my seat to do this without moving the velcro-ing the ECM in a slightly different location. This was something I was unwilling to do. This was different than my DL1000 as it had a MAF sensor. The PC-III is placed into the MAF circuit. Much cleaner solution IMHO.
However, I still think highly of the PC-III(V).
