Default 2012 Fat Boy Lo Pasenger Backrest options Help........

KK,
Here it is guys/gals. I just stepped up to a 2012 Denim Black Fat Boy Lo. I mostley run with the driver seat and a fender bib. My wifey is only riding some times and when she does its not super long rides. Im trying to figure out my best option for a quick release sissybar/backrest/small rack. I want it in black. Should I bite the bullet and just go with the HD factory setup which means light relocation etc.... and amounts to $450+. I found this http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/772...issy-Bar-Mount and havnt found any user input or reviews. Kinda sketchy thinking it would dent/ding/damage the rear fender but I dont know. I found other ones on ebay for alot cheaper and I could just get everything powder coated. Im sure many of you had to make this choice at one time or another so any input would be much appreciated........

Thanks in advance........

Looks like a cool idea, but it says it fits 130-150 tires.

First, the link you sent is for up to the 150mm rear tires, and therefore won't fit on a Lo..even still, you're still looking at $330 for that set up, since the "plug&play" part is just the rack, then the sissy bar and pad are extra..

Second, Well would it help to say that with most of the HD sissy bar racks you can just grind off the edges so they'll fit with the turn signals in the same position? therefore saving you the money of the relocation kit?

I modified mine and works like a dream. I hardly ever use it for a backrest, I put a rack on it so I can carry my crap to work when I ride it to work

Here are some pics of my lo with the HD back rest and some of the Mods so you don't have to relocate the signals.
