Here's an old thread back out of no where! I much prefer floor boards/running boards, what ever you want to call them. My reason for thinking of going to forward controls back then was because of the trouble I have with my hips and legs. I just further invested myself with my floor boards too by having the mounts sent out to be re-chromed. Yes, they were already chrome but not to my standards so they had to be re-done. I think with the doctors, meds and some physical therapy since then, I am much more able to use what I have, my floor boards 90% pain free. I got spoiled long ago with floor boards. IMHO, I prefer floor boards over anything else, front and back.

To go for the extra 10% Tony, try the Arlen Ness Extended kit. Just a plate, but it moves the boards out 1/2" and forward 3". My Bad knee really appreciates the extra stretch room!
