I noticed that one of the notched out covers that go over the fork legs
dug into my left lower fork leg.
I took it to my local dealer and they were really nice about it.
ofcoures that offered to replace under warranty thats a given.
but what really blew my mind is that they also offered to replace both lower fork legs and all covers for $299.00 !!!
Hell I jumped on that one.
All crome front end on my new 07 fatboy for 299 bucks .
Just the crome lowers legs go for 3 hundered and change if I remember right.
Not counting all the fork seals the upper covers and labor.
Is it just me or does this sound like a heck of a deal?
Sounds very reasonable for the dealer to supply and install.
When I was looking at 2007 models, in Daytona Beach they quoted me over $800. In Port Charlotte it was a lot cheaper than Daytona but still a lot more than your quote.
