I just purchaced a Jegs Oil Cooler. By what i see on the instructions it"s telling me to cut into the oil lines.
The question I have is
On the oil filter housing I see 2 plugs,
Is this a IN and Out?
Was wondering if I remove the plugs and replace with fittings can I plumb the cooler there.
Somebody on here has to know what those plugs are for, unfortunately I dont. I guess if you dont get a response, you can pull one of the plugs and put a fitting with some hose on it in a bucket and see if you get pressure (momentarily obviously)
Which oil cooler did you buy? The oil coolers I've seen before have an adapter that attach to the engine where the oil cooler normally goes, and then add the oil filter to that. The lines for the oil cooler attach to the adapter and you shouldn't need to cut into the stock oil lines.
