Default Fender tips for springers...pricing ridiculous!

Now I know these are discontinued and a little hard to find. But $775 bucks for a pair of plastic pieces are just insane. I really like the look that it gives the bike but for that much money I think I'll pass. Does anyone know where I could possibly find a pair which is more reasonably priced? Or anyone got a set that they'd like to sell?

Totally agree. They retailed for $29.99 new. I see them regularly for $250 each.

J&P have some reproductions that are similar in design, but not exact. They are $20 each at J&P.

Oh, and the original tips and the reproductions are both metal, not plastic.

Welcome to the pricey world of Heritage Springers (or in your case Softail Springer Classic).

I have not personally seen or installed them. The folks a J&P are pretty cool. I'm sure they could measure the parts and you could compare it to your fender's dimensions. Let us know how they "measure up."

lol...i even emailed the seller to see if that's the correct listing price. and he replied yes. he even offered it to me for $725. I told him that I would have to be crazy to pay that much for an accessory.
