Fender tips for springers...pricing ridiculous!

Call a good dealer and see if they can find some old stock. I told the tech that does my work I was looking on Ebay for some Springer bags and the prices. In short he told me F that...he would find some new ones. New bags, hardware and every thing came in around $300 less than the cheapest on Ebay.
I checked ebay for a matching basket weave tank panel and wasn't going to pay those prices either....Dealer came through again and found one in all black for $40.00.
I wrote down the part number and I need to call about my Shotguns tomorrow.....I will see if he can find any in the system, sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

There's a lot of obsolete Heritage Springer parts out there commanding some top dollars..
There are also quite a few parts that Ebay dealers want you to think are obsolete, but you can still get them...
Get the part numbers and do the research before you buy.

I had my tech have his parts dept do a search of HD Parts data Base and there are None to be had as they are and have been discontinued for quite some time.
Q did say if he had been able to locate them the Pair (front and back) would have run $68.00 plus shipping.
