i've got a heritage seat on my deluxe, i just replaced the chrome spots with black ones i bought on ebay, didnt take too long and it will fit in with my bike better, it was $6.00 for fifty of them.
Just take a black Sharpie and make them look like, who I call, black chrome. And if the weather or wear you just open up that same old Sharpie (that you carry in your saddle bags) and touch them up. Easy Peasy!
Hey Fren, how did you safely take out the stock chrome studs? Sure appreciate that knowledge.
