Curious about the Power Vision. Been looking at it thinking that it would sure be nice to tune on the run especially if a bad batch of gas is incountered. Are you happy with it and does it give useable information to tune? I moved my coil and horn this winter but because I'm still very much into winter here in AK I haven't been able to test my theory that rear head heat would be reduced by haveing the *** seat post and coil somewhere else. Get into hot country and about cook my right thigh. I'm hoping that my two layers of header wrap and this mod will help. Let me know about your Power Vision if you would be so kind.

I like the Power Vision Alot. Although I'm new to Harley's and don't have any experience with other tuners to compare. I bought mine mostly because of what I'd read about how lean (EPA) the Harley motor was tuned and knew I'd need to change that if I was going to get any longievity out of it. This tuner seems to do the most for the money.
I've asked a few times on this forum if anybody had just left their motors stock and how many miles they had, no responses so I'm guessing just about everybody changes thier exhaust and air cleaner. I had already removed the cats from the mufflers and drilled out holes in the baffle plug and needed to cool it down even more. So I ordered the PV and the SE Air from Fuelmoto. This made a big difference in power and is really nice to monitor the engine vitals on the PV mounted to the handlebars.
Now I've installed an S&S 570 Easy Start Cam and am in the process of fine tuning the new Fuelmoto map. Takes a bit of learning, but is alot cheaper then Dyno time and alot more fun if your into that kind of thing.
For the cooked thigh problem get a crouch cooler off E-Bay <$30, works great. Not sure how much cooler it'll run with the seat post removed, but it does look better. My only concern is if the coil will get hotter in this location? We'll see!!

As far as cooking the coil I have run mine there for 30k+ miles. In the summer it see's 110* for days with no issues at all.
Haha And Im up here looking for ways to get more heat off the engine. hope ya'll are enjoying your year round shorts and tshirt weather. At least I can say I have not missed a month yet riding the bike up in the great white north.
Your bike really pulls those pegs off good. they would probably want 50 bucks a piece for dummy grenades at the one milsurp store up here.
