Anyone running these? My understanding they are designed and made by the now out of business yokohama. Just what i've read. Prices on these tires are great just hope they hold up. I ordered one for a project.

IMO after waisting my cash on a VEE Rubber i will only spend my money on a tryed and proven tire. No off brands for me.

I believe a company in Korea purchased the molds from Yokohama who had their plant destroyed. Agree with Stone, when it comes to tires I'm not taking any chances with something I'm trusting my life on.

I agree that alot is riding on tires but they still have to meet dot specs.. i hope. I guess the tire debate is like anything else... Just wanted to hear if anyone personally had used them.. Every manufacture good and bad has had its first customers. So, i guess i will try it out and let you know.. if it blows out i guess I will ride a wheelie home.. hahaha

I'm running a Shinko on the back of my 2000 Night Train. And I love it. It grips great. I'm not sure how many miles I have on it right off, (I have it written down in the building with my bike) but its holding up great. I'd buy another one in a second! Do a search on here for Shinko, someone else was running them too. But i can't remember who. They were very happy with it also.

Ive never ran one on my harley but i ran 1 on my old zx6rr. Notice i said 1 lol. Nothing against them really but you are paying for a cheap tire so sometimes that what you get. I had it on the front and the i was dragging a knee and the front end started to wash out on me, scared the crap outta me. Now i will say that was on a sportbike and they corner hard. I would run one on my harley i dont think it can corner hard enough to push any tire to its limit grip wise. Ill give it a try when i need a new tire.

They sell a **** loads of them around here and i have yet to hear any issues with them...they do have to me some kind of minimal specs ....Look at all the other kind of so called brand name **** "MADE IN ASIA" on our bikes....Just because it's a lesser known name doesn't mean it's trash....Have y'all looked at the tires made by NEXEN, NITTO, KUMHO, etc... that are put on new cars nowadays... Farking crap....

I spoke with bike bandit when I was ordering my last tires. They were dead serious that every tire has to meet the same safety standard, and the cheapys are just as safe from defects as any high end tire. The rubber is what they skimp on and go cheap with, so even though they are just as unlikeley to blow out as any other tire, the rubber compounds are very low quality. So they wear quicker, develope cracks quicker, but cost considerably less to make. I have used plenty without issue, but now I run Avon and Metzler.
