He traded in his 09 Nt for a 10 Street Glide and they gave him $14.5K for it back in May or June of 10. they sold it for $14.9. So not all the dealers make $4k on trade-ins.
Seems like he paid around $20K for the new 10 Street Glide, about 1 1/2 yrs ago and they gave him $2k of free parts which paid for the A/C, pipes, SePST, cams and dyno.
I'll just add that he's 30 and in good shape, and now he can ride all day without having any pain VS his 07 Duece or 09 NT that he hurt after a 2 hr ride.. He ab-so-lutly Loves his Street Gilde..
It's all about the riding position,, which is really the Ergonomics of the bike if U want a good pain free ride on long rides or trips.
ONE reason I've said in here many time that the Heritage for ME with its seating and bars is the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden.. I have a bad back (shattered Vertebrae and screwed up right knee and I am old {62}) and can still ride all day for days on end without pain....
Well the deed has been done. They pulled out a totally decked out 07 SG with 3800 miles. I got 11200 for the train and since I only owed like 2800...You get the picture. I made out pretty good. The SG is Black Pearl and the owner before me spend a ton on chrome and wheels etc... I am pretty happy. Pics will be here soon.
