Chrome frame inserts and pivot bolt kit question

Default Chrome frame inserts and pivot bolt kit question
In the picture on the area the chrome frame inserts would go, do I install them over te 2 plastic plugs in the frame?? They are only on the right side. See pic

I read on the Tail-Art installation web site, that you "Remove button from the bike frame" (Step 1).

Hope that helps out!

Yes, you remove the plastic plugs before installing the frame inserts.

Sweet thanks. Didn't even know there were aftermarket ones. Mines just the plain harley chromes

NO you do not need to remove the plugs the double sided sticky tape raises the insert enoigh so it doesnt foul it

Well already ****ed up and removed to realize the right side inserts don't even cover that area. They have a cut out. Dumbass me shoulda looked at te inserts closer. Now gotta get new plugs to replace the mangled ones.

I know there are right side inserts that cover up that area. I have them. Only problem is I don't remember where I got them. About $15 but I don't remember where. If I do, I'll
Let ya know.

What a stupid design. If I didn't get these 4 months ago they woulda went back. Ideas on covering up my nice ugly rusty holes in which the plastic plugs are still in cause they wouldn't budge I just cut the tops off
