Default Do I need New longer bolts with new Riser?

Gents, I am thinking about swapping my stock 6" risers for a 8" billet round style. Can I use my "old" riser bolts with the new risers? Or can I just slap some new blue locktite on and call it a day? What are you guy torquing them to also ?

If it were me, I would clean up the threads with a brush to get the old loctite off then reapply new loctite and reinstall. I have never had any issues and I do it all the time. Don't know what the exact torque spec is though, sorry.

As long as the threadsare the same pitch etc you should be fine.. I would swap out the bushings while I am at it if I was you.

+1 on that. I used the same bolts when I switched to 8's and had no issues. You may want to get you some poly riser bushings to replace the rubber ones though. My 8's seemed to want to twist more than the 6's until i changed to poly.
