2000-2005 Dyna. If you look you can find them for that price. FXD, FXDL, etc.

Last year i found my neighbor an 06 Fatboy for 8500. Gorgeous bike. Had bags, windshield, full Willie G skullset and a numbered paintset. The bike has a salvaged title but didnt have much damage to begin with. May be an option worth looking into.

I think if you are just patient and look around you will be able to find a softy in that price range. Something like a FB or Heritage. If not, I agree on the VStar. They are sharp bikes for the money.
