A bit on the high side I think. I've seen a couple of comparable springers here in the north for a couple grand less. But if you want it bad then go for it
If you look on ChopperExchange, you'll find that Springers get high prices- dealer or private. Even with lots of miles on 'em. And some of them have 50,000 miles!!
I bought my 03 Heritage softail for 16grand with 9k miles, but here in NL they are harder to come by and this bike is in unbelievable condition. I seen a springer for sale for the same price but more miles, but really dont like the look.
Your paying a dealer price at $12K.. Is it high?.. A little.. Is it outrageous? No...
Best answer so far...killer deals that were around a couple of years ago, are drying up because there just aren't as many people that have to sell a bike to keep from losing their house. I am always watching springer prices, because I want one. Springers usually bring 2 -3k more than their hydraulic forked counterparts...NADA be damned. I personally am glad to see people starting to hold their ground and quit giving bikes away...which ruins the value of everyone's bike.
