I like Carlini, I just have a hard time justifying 350 for a handlebar. If I was going to spend that kind of money I'd go with Lucid Kustoms. I'm not going for show chrome or "show" quality per say. I want something sleek, and dark. As long as the handlebar doesn't break on me, I'm good. For some reason the Evil ape design cost so much more. I can get som slim 20 inch apes for 100 bucks! I just really like the edge design of the Evil.
I say give Demons a try, like I said man I like them and never had an issue with them. The chrome on my drag bars is nice but the mirror stems looks alittle funny but they were $33 so.......its ok!!!
Well, my apes are ordered. I ended up going with Lucid Kustoms. They're actually a birthday present form my mom (yes, my mom). When I showed her the pic of the Demon bars, she said, "I thought you liked the curvy ones more". I told her I did, but they were $100 more. She told me to get what I really want and she'd get them... so, they are ordered and being built as I type this.
Super stoked....
The pick of the bike is one that Lucid Kustoms built, just an example of 20's.
how do you get away with 20" apes in Texas????.... they don't enforce the "Maximum of 15" above seat - Required by inspection regulations - Texas Department of Public Safety"

HAHA! wow! I didn't even know that existed! Funny too cause Bike cops pull up next to me and chat at red lights all the time. They weren't 20's but even my 14's on my Deluxe are much more than 15" higher above my seat.
