Had the same problem with my 07 Custom even after a new tire.
Checked the neck bearings and found they were WAY too loose.
Greased the bearings and did the fall away adjustment and Ta-Da, no more wobble.

So far I get 10k on rear and 20k on front tires.
So with a new tire, plus greasing the neck U may be ok,
Still wouldn't hurt to adjust the neck bearings also.

When I greased my neck bearings the first time it took a lot of squeezes on the grease gun to get any grease to come out at the bottom bearing.

When the bike was new the dealer may have give it a few shots but I don't see how any of the grease got to the bearings without filling the neck full first.

Now I grease the neck till I get a little bit that comes out the bottom bearing every oil change. Then just wipe it clean.

Thanks for all the info & suggestions, cool to have a forum like this to ask on. I checked tire pressures, they were bang on. Checked the tire for cupping, looked and felt okay. Checked for slack in the he neck, seems tight, so I greased it as suggested. Checked the spokes and found two that seem to sound different than the rest. Bike goes in today to be checked over & change front tire. Guess I'll start there and see what happens. Thanks again for the help.

Okay, here's the update. Had to order the tire, so while it was waiting, my Harley trained indy checked the neck bearings, way too tight. Adjusted them and set the fall away. Greased the head, pulled the front wheel and checked the balance & spokes, tightened two, all good. He test rode it and "Most" of the wobble was gone. When the tire came in, he mounted it and re-balanced, no wobble at all. It's a nice smooth ride. So, I used every suggestion you guys made, and they all seemed to help a bit, but the tire would appear to have been the main cause in this case. Thanks again to all of you for your suggestions, I really appreciated the info.

That's awesome. I'm glad the folks in this forum are willing to share their experiences and offer solutions to most of our bike problems. I've been a member of this forum for a little over four months and have nothing but good things to say about everyone here. Often times I learn things by just reading everyone's post etc. Of course, from time-to-time you get a smart as! response, but that's just part of the fun. Ride safe my friend!
