Like them,,,,NO... I LOVE the way they sound.

Bought my Rush 2''ers back in 07 when I had the 1K service done along with SE A/C, SERT and dyno. I didn't really know what I wanted so I just got the slip-ons.

Our dealer didn't carry them so I had to get them from another dealer.
Mine was the first set of Rush pipes installed by our dealer but I'd heard nothing but good reports about The pipes from others.

Now 5ys later I still have them, Why,, because I still like them, IMO there isn't a pipe system out there that sounds any better. They are mild while cruising, but will really talk to Ya when U accelerate.

They won't quite make as good as numbers as a 2-1 system, but I figure I left maybe 3-5 #'s of TQ on the table at most by having them.

I have had to rewrap the baffles, as they will burn out as any packed muffler will do.
Once at 15k and again 35k. They now wrap them a lot different than they used to so I think they will last a lot longer now. They wrap them a lot tighter and now use two layers of the same 1/2 material instead of just one. That's why they should last a lot longer. Both time I've had to do it all U need to do is call Rush and they will overnight the material to U, Last time I did mine they didn't even charge me for the packing. Can't beat that service.

So for me the only reason I'd ever change them out is for a set of 2-1's just to get a little better TQ but to pay another $1000. or more just for 3-5 lbs of TQ is not worth it to me.

Another thing I'll add is there service is great and their Tech line had been helpful every time I've called them. Plus the quality is tops.. My pipes still look new and the chrome is still flawless.

Over all I'd recommend them to anyone looking at slip-ons or who wants a great sound.

Also if all U change is the pipes, then theirs nothing else U'll need to do.

2.0" on the wifes 2010 Deluxe...2.5" on my 2007 SG for about 2 years. Both look great and sound great. 2.5" is a bit louder...which I like...but not harsh or obnoxious.

My Heritage had Rush slip ons when I bought it last year. My riding buds LOVE the way they sound. I think they're a little loud for touring, I may go with some SE slip ons to quiet things down a little on the road.

rooti has it exactly right. Why buy slip ons when you can get the whole system for a bit more and have a great setup?

it all depends what you want , i like my fat bob 2-1-2 system , so i only wanted the mufflers changed , i can still do a stage one later and use them , so it makes sense to me , or i can leave them as they are and run it stock just get a little more noise without loosing any performance ,
slip ons are more versatile than some people give them credit for , and you don't end up with dips in the torque curve like you do with some set ups

FYI. The cats are in the mufflers. So I don't see any reason why a full system would adversely affect performance anymore than slip-ons without cats.

Wondering how many miles U have on the pipes.

As I said above the packing will burn out over time and U'll have to replace it. They will be LOUDER when the packing is burnt out bad.
Done it to mime twice. Needed to do it around 15k, or U can call rush and get smaller baffles, they make 1 1/2'', 1 3/4'', 2'', 2 1/2 and used to make 2 1/4'' but not sure if they still do!.

So U may have the 2'' baffles or bigger now, but U could order the 1 3/4''er or even the 1 1/2''. That will quiet them down without buying new Pipes.

I went with the 2'' knowing I was soon installing cams.
