I'm looking for forward control extenstions for my 99 FXST. Found some from Accutronix for around $165. Anyone have any experience with them? I need some black ones and would like to go 3-4 inches forward. Can't believe the cost just for a couple of plates, nuts and bolts.
If anyone knows good deals on these that are black, let me know. Thanks.
I have the 3" Ness kit. It's very nice. At 6'4" I'm a lot more comfy on my train. Got my kit on eBay for $166 shipped. Comes with the longer brake line that some kits don't have.

Thanks CSS... That's one of the things that's been driving me crazy is a lot of them don't have the brakeline. I'm around your height so I need to get ahold of some. My knees are almost in my chest on this thing. Appreciate it!

+1 for the Ness Kit I have it installed on my BL - ABS Equipped Which came with everything included.
I put on the cycle visions 2" kit. I had reservations with only 2", but it worked out great. It doesn't come with the brakeline, but if you're crafty and handy with a wrench you can reuse the stock one. And they were the cheapest i found. But if you have the dough to spend, i hear the Arlen ness are the ****!
I'm only 6 ft tall and feel like my bike would be more comfortable as far as foot position if everything was moved forward a couple inches. Does anyone my height have extensions on their bike that can chime in too?
