Fortunately when I installed the actual plate light I had the rear wheel off at the time so I of course ran it through the existing hole the turn signal wire ran and into the socket.

The idea Chap had sounds like a great idea and going into the housing with the wires I guess it'd be easiest to tie into the existing or former plate light wiring.

Motown, you aren't kidding, it was a biotch installing with the wheel on. Someone with large hands and little dexterity in the fingers is going to have a rough go of it.

Mark, get that tank shift mounted up! You are killing me again with these ideas your planting in my head. LOL

Hey if any of you guys have the OEM guts to the Tombstone light ill buy it. I'm talking the gray plastic assembly with the 2 lights...
Mine is severally cracked up from original owner, ill buy your old one if not too expensive... Current medical events in my life have left me some what financially depressed at the moment so a new one @ 120.00 is out of the budget... I also Powder-Coated the old one an license mount hardware...

If it was on the shelf I would give it to you but these relo kits just cover the stock guts. look for guys running stretched rear fenders on here. They usualy replace the whole tombstone with a different style light.

Sorry Pal, as Motown said, these relocators still use the inside of lights, it's just a new cover!
