....... theres no educating some people ....lol
what dyna was it ?
09 lowrider --I did like it but the smoothness of the fatboy engine really won me over. I have had major surgery on right wrist & it didnt like the dyna vibes.
I have had 3 fatboys I think its the only one to get. I may be a little bias though. I think the price is a bit steep though, Just sold a 07 yesterday with 11k miles for 10,800. Good luck to ya on your choice. Mike
Dealer has a nice 2004 Fatboy (non EFI) 9,000 miles w/ V&H stage 1 Price seems fair to me at $11,000
What are some pro's con's of the Fatboy? How do they ride/handle? Any known issues to be aware of, and how do they compare to let's say a Dyna Superglide or Wideglide?
There just seems to be a lot of them up for sale, is there a reason behind that?
Any feedback appreciated
Love Mine
Much more stable than my 07 Superglide was
Not Quite as smooth as my Electra Glide

And
Another Nice thing about a Fatboy is that everyone knows its a Fatboy
lots of folks look at a Dyna as a Sporster (theysay is that a Sportster)
No you Dumb FUUKK
I love the dynas
I will eventually have a EVO Wide Glide (true American Chopper)
I'd buy a Fatboy over a Dyna any day of the week.....I had an 07 Lowrider and didn't like much ,took a real bath on the price too when I sold it for a Softail as Dynas don't have a very good resale around here
Ive never noticed the fat boy or softail slim being a smoother ride than my fat bob , i know it has a balanced engine, but it seems much of the same to me ,
i found both the softails Ive ridden a bit barge like when it came to the feel on corners compared to the Dyna's Ive ridden , but they were better in a straight line and crossing lanes than the street bob or wide glide , i guess the fat front tires rule ...... horses for courses and all that , but for me , ill keep the Fat bob until Harley make a better handling big twin ... nothing wrong with a fat boy in the looks department though , just loose that gay seat for a brawler solo and your good to go
