Dealer has a nice 2004 Fatboy (non EFI) 9,000 miles w/ V&H stage 1 Price seems fair to me at $11,000
What are some pro's con's of the Fatboy? How do they ride/handle? Any known issues to be aware of, and how do they compare to let's say a Dyna Superglide or Wideglide?
There just seems to be a lot of them up for sale, is there a reason behind that?

A ton of them were sold, in fact the Fat Boy was once the highest selling model before the Street Glide. Nothing wrong with an 04 softy.
11k isn't too bad....but 9.5k is better.....buy it...the fatty rules.....just think, you can ride around and think you're the terminator......awsome.....

KBB says it's worth retail $11,065. 9K miles is pretty low for an 8 model year bike..... anything less than $11,000 is probably a good buy. I have an 07 so it's EFI, 6 speed, 96 & 200 mm rear tire....... I love it. Great for everyday rides to work and great on long trips. I put ~13K miles on mine last year. Can't go wrong with a Fatboy!

Sorry dude, I'm the terminator...
And yep, seems like a good deal to me. My brother-in-law just bought a carbed 06 Deluxe with 9K miles for $12,500.
I LOVE my 04 carbed FatBoy!! bought mine almost 3 years ago from a private owner here, locally for $12000. She already had a 95 kit on it with pipes and bars, (which I now have replaced.)
The only problem I've had with her was I spend waaaaay too much $$$ on her. Or maybe not enough?!?!and now that I think about it, that isn't a problem. I'm in denial. And I talk to myself. Especially after Happy Hour.
Woooo hoooo for Happy Hour!!!

Buy It's not a great deal but not bad from a dealer.
I just Bought My 2004 Fat Boy 2 months ago. My Bank said the NADA Value was $8500. I thought it was way more than that as well. I was going off of NADA Online and KBB.
But my bank would loan up to 125% on bikes so I was good to go and got it for 9500.
You know what happens at happy hour. Long story short,
you wind up re enacting scenes from Platoon w/Charlie Sheen.
Actually Fatboy's are pretty cool. I do like the "plain" FL style frt/fender
on em though.
