THIS is why I won't run a 21" front wheel.

Exactly!
They might call you, but take a pic of the hole you hit (before they send someone out to fill it). and get ur money man!
I look at it like this. I pay Taxes, state and fed, and also have all my vehicles registered and I also pay taxes on them ("for road use") so, FIX the Fuken Roads!

What??? I thought it would take a direct mortar strike to bend a FatBoy wheel! Imagine what spokes would have looked like!

I've put about a hundred miles on the bike since and everything seems fine handling wise, I'm just wondering if I should get the bike checked out just in case. I looked pretty close myself but didn't see any obvious problems.

It bent the rim on the right side, but it held air. It wobbled a little at low speed. I was riding with a group at night, and I hit that SOB doing about 70. I looked about 18 inches wide and about a foot deep. Usually the guys riding up front do a pretty good job of pointing that stuff out, but no one saw it. If you don't have obvious problems, I guess it's up to you to decide if having some piece of mind is worth having to pay to check it out.

In fairness to the dealer, they were able to work me in the same day the parts came in. They replaced the wheel and bearings. The tire apparently wasn't damaged. Its on, and I'm ridin' ...that's all that matters.

Considering it was a central Kentucky pothole, it would have had that very same accent.
