Help please.... Because I am not a trusting person...
Anybody with an FL
Can you measure the inside width?
Basically just between the main 2 legs? Or the fender mounts, etc..
I have an fx springer,,, but want a touring type fender, or really want an fl fender with the struts on it...
Will do the work needed to convert... If the width is the same..
I measured mine for.... Good measure...
The fender mounts are 6 1/2" apart... The actual kegs are
8" apart...
I know the brakes are opposite sides , I don't mind a lil fab work, but only if the widths are pretty near the sameish....
I have an FL and the front end is unchanged. The fender mounts look like they come off the axle. I really wish I had read this earlier and I would have taken pics for you from any angle you wanted. If you still need me to, I will in the morning. I'm at work right now.
