299 prob ain't bad, prices vary across the country.
Most I've paid for one was $249. Least was $170 when I do my own oils.
I've doing all my own cept brakes and tires for the last 2 summers.
If I felt my dealer was a Stealer I would never set foot in their store/shop again.
Learn who is the best or second best wrench in the shop and ask that only they work on U bike, U can do that, or at least I do. That way U should be getting the work done correctly and not by some Newbie that's still learning what to do and how to do it. Some new guys are pretty good buy not all should be cut loose.
