Additionally as you can see she has the Kury heat shields to keep the heat down from the rear cylinder

And we also put on the RUSH exhaust as their ceramic coating inside and outside the pipe knocks down the temps

And we also run the XIEDs

When you combine everything she has a comfortable ride in the heat of south FL, so much that when we got a little chilly this winter she wanted more heat off the engine to keep her legs warm and it just wasn't enough, call that ironic

Leather comes in a lot of colors, maybe instead of a boot to cover it go to Ur local auto upholstery shop and have him make a cover that glues or ties right on the cap. That way it wont blow off.

Very creative cool idea. Thanks! I'm sure the heart has special significance to your wife. Cathy has a reason to feel the same about yellow roses and the bike is a military tribute theme. Perhaps one of those ideas might appeal to her.

Thanks!

Thinking frugal here...maybe add a skirt to the seat? Is the exhaust the culprit? Rear jug exhaust up on the oil tank?

Since you're fairly local to destination daytona, stop into the leather shop out there in the parking lot, it's called On the Fringe, ask for Peggy, she can make whatever your wife likes, she's the one that made this one for my wife after my wife thought up the idea
