I don't understand...???... If people want baggers, why take a bike thats not a bagger, spend a ton of money on it to convert it into a bagger? Why not just buy a bagger in the first place? I am not knocking it or anyone's decision to do so, I just don't understand it is all. I love my Deluxe, my last bike was a Heritage Classic. I have the quick connect bags for my Deluxe but it looks SO ugly with them on I never use them. I am glad I have them in case I want to road trip but boy is it ugly, IMHO!! I also have 2 windshields and 2 rear seats but again, it's ugly with either of those on there! All that I have on my bike is quick connect but the best look, IMHO, is when I run solo. The Deluxe is "Nostalgia" and I think I lose that when I start adding that stuff, it just seems like it all takes away from the original look of the bike. All of this is all JMHO though, not knocking ANYONE for what ever they choose to do to thier bikes.
