Over the Yrs there has been many threads and Post in here about the "Fanges".

They are probably the best one thing we can do to prevent Buffering and it really kind of proves that it is caused from the wind coming from below the shield and not over it.

One thing is those who loves the Looks of their bike more than all else has a hard time putting them on.

They do work.
And they look ok too. The problem is, tha angle
of the Heritage windshield is wrong. If you look.
it's angled up slightly, forcing air down. If you look
at a Roadking windshield, it's swept back so air is
up n over.

Default wind deflectors

I just put them on my Heritage and man do they work. But I had a different wind problem. For me the problem was the wind coming through and around the forks, it would push my legs out sometimes actually blowing my foot off the floorboard, and I would have to constantly be holding them in against the gas tank. And at the end of a day trip I had some very sore thigh muscles. So now, with the deflectors the wind actually goes out around my legs and pushes my legs in to the gas tank. So no more sore muscles. Also, the windshield on my Heritage does lean back so maybe they changed this over the years. So the deflectors get my approval.

Anyone know if these will fit a Wide Glide with a quick detach windshield?

Have them on my Heritage and would buy them again if needed. Helmet does not beat me up anymore and less fatigue on long rides.
