Hey guys just, im about to pull the trigger on braided brake lines and new bars on my 2012 deluxe, I was really leaning toward harleys narrow beach bears on the stock deluxe riser, just wondering if any of you have any experience with those bars, or pictures of them on a bike.
Thanks again.
I believe most folks running beach bars are running Burly Brand. Use the search function and I am sure, you will find tons of pictures with Deluxe's running Beach Bars.
Its a more dramatic look to go with the wider bars such as the Burly's. I was apprehensive about going so wide but Im sure glad I did. IMO, beach bars dont look right on the stock Deluxe pullback riser and the HD bars dont have enough pullback if you use a 1.5" riser like most of us are using. Ultimately its your bike and your decision on what look and feel you are after. Just wanted to say that if you like the wider bars but were worried that they would be too wide, dont worry about it. I have not seen one person say they didnt love the look and feel of them. Im 5'8 and I thought they'd be too wide but I can ride for days with them and no fatigue. Just my 2 cents...hope you enjoy what you choose.
If you'tre referrig to the Crossbones Beach Bars, I just installed a set and love them. I had a set 36" wide and they looked fine with my 6 gallon tanks but didn't care for the look with my stock 4.2 gallon tanks.
These are only 30.7" wide and they look and feel great. Plus they were only $59.66 + shipping from New Castle H-D. I figured at that price I'd give them a shot, and if I liked them, I'd get them chromed. After putting them on, I'm digging the black. I decided I'm gonna marbleize them to match my tanks. It should look pretty cool.
I rode another heritage similar to mine before i bought my bars (Burly Bikini Beach Bars) with the regular 36 inch beach bars an it was kind of a bear to ride an pull into a parking spot at a bar or something was comfortable tho so i decided to go with the Bikini Beach an really like them very comfortable also
